PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Matt approaches rehabilitation with a deeply personalized perspective, believing that recovery is never one-size-fits-all and that meeting each patient where they are—honoring their unique pace and needs—creates the foundation for meaningful progress. His clinical expertise in manual therapy and evidence-based orthopedic care allows him to guide patients through comprehensive healing that prioritizes both functional restoration and genuine confidence in their bodies.

With a clinical focus in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine, Matt works with a wide range of patients from acute injuries through post-operative recovery, bringing particular expertise to complex procedures including total knee replacements, hip replacements, and strength training progression. His Certified Graston Technique Practitioner credential reflects his commitment to skilled hands-on manual therapy integrated with progressive therapeutic exercise—he understands that recovery requires both expert technique and genuine empathy for the patient’s journey.

Matt holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Cal Poly Pomona. His professional certification as a Certified Graston Technique Practitioner demonstrates his dedication to evidence-based, integrated care. His personal journey into Physical Therapy—sparked by his own sports-related injuries—has shaped an authentic understanding of what recovery truly demands. This lived experience allows him to connect genuinely with patients navigating their own healing, bringing both technical skill and deep compassion to every session.

A lifelong sports enthusiast with roots in Northern and Southern California, Matt values an active, well-balanced lifestyle that extends beyond the clinic. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him enjoying football, basketball, track and field, fitness, archery, and hiking—and always happiest with his dog by his side. When he’s not on the move, Matt enjoys exploring new restaurants, experimenting in the kitchen with his wife, or getting out into nature for scenic adventures.
